Gift Pouch

Back on the blog after a long time …though I have been crocheting … but it just so happened that I couldn’t always find words to go with my projects … so there were just pictures of my work on my Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/thecrochetbag) … not much to say today as well but was missing my  blog and you all …

Made this tiny-miny pouch that can be used as a gift pouch …

(pic taken with flash)

(pic taken without flash)

Pattern for this is from the book,

and the thread I used is the same that I used to make my mini doilies here (http://thecrochetbag.blogspot.in/2013/09/mini-doilies.html) also hook used is 3.00mm.

Mini Doilies

Burst of color …

The thread is 100% cotton, local made n has extraordinary sheen, which I found very enjoyable to work with …

They were quick to make n I completed them in between 1 to 2 Altoids  …

Applying lotion to my hand while crocheting doesn’t often work for me as it makes the hook slip n being unable to have a proper grip of the hook results in untidy stitches … Does it happen with you too?

The pattern is 1 from each book below … though I must say that these books are full of fun n easy doily patterns …

Happy Crocheting!!!

Guitar Lover Gift

What could be an ultimate gift for a guitar enthusiast … that is what my quest was for past few days …

And found an answer which was so simple and right there …

What could be better than the Instrument itself … adding the touch of my craft would mean it has to be crocheted … so here it is in the birthday girls favorite color …
