Ch = Chain(s)

Dc = Double crochet

Hdc = Half-Double crochet

Rep = Repeat

Rnd(s) = Round(s)

Sc = Single crochet

Sl st = Slip stitch

Sp(s) = Space(s)

St(s) = Stitch(es)

Single Crochet Round

Ch 3. Join with sl st to first ch to form ring.

1st rnd: Ch 1, 6 sc in ring. Join with sl st to the first sc. (6 sc).
2nd rnd: Ch 1, 2 sc in same spot, *[2 sc in next sc]. Rep from * around. Join with sl st to the first sc. (12 sc).
3rd rnd: Ch1, 1 sc in same spot, 2 sc in next sc *[1 sc in next sc ,2 sc in next sc]. Rep from * around. Join with sl st to the first sc. (18 sc).
4th rnd: Ch 1, 1 sc in same spot, 2 sc in next sc *[1 sc in each of next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc]. Rep from * around with 1 sc in last sc. Join with sl st to the first sc. (24 sc).
5th rnd: Ch 1, 1 sc in same spot, 1 sc in each of next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc, *[1 sc in each of next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc]. Rep from * around. Join with sl st to the first sc. (30 sc).

Half-Double Crochet Round

Ch 4. Join with sl st to first ch to form ring.

1st rnd: Ch 2 (Ch 2 at beg of rnd counts as hdc throughout), 7 hdc in ring. Join with sl st to top of ch 2. (8 hdc).
2nd rnd: Ch 2, 1 hdc in same spot, *[2 hdc in next hdc]. Rep from * around. Join with sl st to top of ch 2. (16 hdc).
3rd rnd: Ch2, 2 hdc in next hdc *[1 hdc in next hdc ,2 hdc in next hdc]. Rep from * around. Join with sl st to top of ch 2. (24 hdc).
4th rnd: Ch 2, 2 hdc in next hdc, *[1 hdc in each of next 2 hdc, 2 hdc in next hdc]. Rep from * around with 1 hdc in last hdc. Join with sl st to top of ch 2. (32 hdc).
5th rnd: Ch 2, 1 hdc in each of next 2 hdc, 2 hdc in next hdc, *[1 hdc in each of next 3 hdc, 2 hdc in next hdc]. Rep from * around. Join with sl st to top of ch 2. (40 hdc).
6th rnd: Ch 2, 1 hdc in the next hdc, 2 hdc in next hdc, *[1 hdc in each of next 4 hdc, 2 hdc in next hdc]. Rep from * around with 1 hdc in each of last 2hdc. Join with sl st to top of ch 2. (48 hdc).

Double Crochet Round

Ch 4. Join with sl st to first ch to form ring.

1st rnd: Ch 3(Ch 3 at beg of rnd counts as dc throughout), 11 dc in ring. Join with sl st to top of ch 3. (12 dc).
2nd rnd: Ch 3, 1 dc in same spot, *[2 dc in next dc]. Rep from * around. Join with sl st to top of ch 3. (24 dc).
3rd rnd: Ch3, 2 dc in next dc *[1 dc in next dc ,2 dc in next dc]. Rep from * around. Join with sl st to top of ch 3. (36 dc).
4th rnd: Ch 3, 2 dc in next dc, *[1 dc in each of next 2 dc, 2 dc in next dc]. Rep from * around with 1 dc in last dc. Join with sl st to top of ch 3. (48 dc).
5th rnd: Ch 3, 1 dc in each of next 2 dc, 2 dc in next dc, *[1 dc in each of next 3 dc, 2 dc in next dc]. Rep from * around. Join with sl st to top of ch 3. (60 dc)
6th rnd: Ch 3, 1 dc in the next dc, 2 dc in next dc, *[1 dc in each of next 4 dc, 2 dc in next dc]. Rep from * around with 1 dc in each of last 2dc. Join with sl st to top of ch 3. (72 dc).
7th rnd: Ch 3, 1 dc in each of next 4 dc, 2 dc in next dc, *[1 dc in each of next 5 dc, 2 dc in next dc]. Rep from * around. Join with sl st to top of ch 3. Fasten off. (84 dc).

The  number of rounds can be increased or decreased based on one’s own requirement.

Knowing the number of stitches/crochets in each round of single, half and double crochet circles is like learning the multiplication tables.
